This is how we minimize our impact on the environment: view the environmental monitor

Eline Verheijden provides insights into the environmental performances of our location in Loenen. Eline started working in Loenen in February as a junior environmental coordinator. “It is a wonderful job that revolves around a subject that I find very interesting. As environmental coordinator, my responsibilities are diverse. I am actively working with the environment in different ways and how we can minimize our impact on it.”

Sustainability and care for the environment are important cornerstones at Smart Packaging Solutions. We like to share the results of our efforts. For that reason, Eline has created an infographic to visualize the environmental performances of our location in Loenen. “In the past year, we have done a lot to further reduce the impact of our production process on the environment and to make the processes more efficient. It is great to see that it yields results. The environmental monitor makes insightful that, for instance, we need less energy and water for the production of solid board. This is a direct result of our efforts to recycle water in our production process. In the coming years, energy will continue to be a point of interest. In my position as environmental coordinator, it is a pleasure to work with committed and kind colleagues to realize our ambitions.”
